The OU Sooners are in the College Football Playoff, lead by OU’s Seventh Heisman Trophy winner, Kyler Murray!

The awesome OU victory over Texas in the rematch to win the Big 12 Championship secured OUr spot in the CFP Orange Bowl game vs. #1 Alabama on Dec. 29th at 7:00pm.  The Big 12 Championship drew a record crowd of 83,114 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the highest-attended conference football championship game ever!  The outcome gave the Sooners an unprecedented fourth consecutive Big 12 title and their 12th overall (all in the last 19 years). OU became the first Power Five program to win four straight outright conference titles since Florida (1993-96 in the SEC).

The explosive Sooners offense, Heisman winning quarterback and defense that is gaining traction (making plays that counted towards the wins of the last 2 weeks) will take the challenge to beat Alabama for the 4th out of 6 meetings (1963 Orange Bowl Loss, 1970 Bluebonnet Bowl Tie, 2002 Norman OU Win, 2003 Tuscaloosa OU Win, 2014 Sugar Bowl OU Win) to make their way to the National Championship game.

Join the KC Sooner Nation to watch OUr CFP game Dec. 29, 2018 at 7:00pm at Tanner’s Bar & Grill — College, Home of the OU Club of KC.  The Events page of this Club website will be updated with more details as they become available and as Club plans are finalized.
